Keep rolling: Roll2Go expands on its data-centric approach to tackle urban mobility challenges
-
With the boom in shared mobility services, and the significant investment in cycling and walking in response to COVID19, plus the arrival of connected autonomous vehicles; the urban environment is rapidly evolving and becoming increasingly complex.
Roll2Go was founded with a vision to tackle urban mobility challenges by turning mobility data into valuable insights. Over the past year, our company has won prestigious awards from both the VentureKick and the IMD competitions, and secured Innosuisse funding to develop our first product, a data-centric platform to tackle challenges in shared micromobility. Our platform has helped the Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA) to understand the adoption of shared micromobility in Switzerland and helped Bond Mobility to offer user-centric incentives with predictive demand analytics.
Building on our success, we are expanding on our data-centric approach to tackle further urban mobility challenges heightened by our rapidly evolving and increasingly complex urban environment. We will continue to develop cutting-edge technologies for mobility data fusion, analytics, and visualisation in collaboration with the Institute for Transport Planning and Systems at ETH and Dr. Haitao He’s urban mobility research group at Loughborough University. Based on these core technologies, Roll2Go offers data-centric platforms for mobility data fusion and predictive analytics that empower real-time data-driven decisions and operations.
We are actively looking for mobility operators and city authorities to collaborate with. Together, we can achieve more efficient, resilient, and sustainable urban mobility for the future.
